The free night award can be used for a single night at a Marriott property costing up to 50,000 points. The award expires 12 months from when it is deposited into your account. Additionally, you can top off each award with up to an additional 25,000 points from your account to stay at a more expensive property (subject to resort fees).

The Marriott Business Amex card offers many great perks, such as the annual free night award you'll receive on each card account anniversary (up to 35,000 points per night; resort fees apply) and 15 Elite night credits toward status each calendar year. On the earning side, you'll receive 6 points per $1 at Marriott Bonvoy® properties, 4 points per $1 at restaurants worldwide, U.S. gas stations, wireless telephone services purchased from U.S. suppliers and on U.S. purchases for shipping, and 2 points per $1 on all other eligible purchases.
