Terms apply (See rates and fees); American Express is a Travel Freely advertiser.
This card has a $0 introductory annual fee for the first year, then $150. This card makes sense for travelers who love Delta, but transferable cards may be a better bet for non-Delta travelers. You can earn 2x miles on Delta purchases as well as receive a free checked bag. Card Members get 15% off when using miles to book Award Travel on Delta flights through delta.com and the Fly Delta app. Discount not applicable to partner-operated flights or to taxes and fees.
With the "As High As" welcome offer from American Express, here’s how it works: First, apply for the card which will only trigger a soft credit inquiry-and if you're approved, you’ll find out your personalized offer amount. Then if you choose to proceed, simply accept the card with your offer (Note: If you’re approved and accept the Card, your credit score will be impacted at this point in the process). Finally, meet the required minimum spending amount based on your personalized offer within the specified number of months from opening your card, and you will earn a valuable welcome offer in the form of Delta SkyMiles®. Keep in mind: welcome offers vary and you may not be eligible for an offer.
Note: there are new card family rules on the terms of this application. You may not be eligible to receive the welcome offer on the Delta SkyMiles® Gold card if you have or have had the Delta SkyMiles® Platinum card or the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve card. Read full terms. Lastly, Amex says it will let you know if you are not eligible before applying.
