Why Travel Freely Likes It
If you travel frequently on United, this card could be beneficial where you'll receive one free checked bag for you and one traveling companion, two United Club passes, priority boarding and no foreign exchange fees. There are also a few partner credit opportunities (including Avis, Budget and Instacart), which help offset the annual fee.
If your travel dates are flexible, you can often find good deals on award flights for lower than standard rates. Decent perks such as enhanced access to United saver level economy awards makes this a keeper for some.
With the "up to" 110,000 bonus miles portion of the offer, you'll earn 100,000 miles after meeting the minimum spend required, plus an additional 10,000 miles after adding an authorized user to your account in the first 3 months of account opening.
Additionally, with this welcome offer you earn 2,000 PQP, which are in addition to the PQP you can earn from card purchases. And they do not count towards the 4,000 calendar year maximum PQP Cardmembers can earn for net purchases.
