This is definitely a card to consider for those who frequently fly on Delta. Despite a higher annual fee, this card has lots of perks including up to $560 in statement credits each year. It currently comes with complimentary access to the Delta SkyClub®, The Centurion® Lounge and Escape Lounges when you’re flying with Delta*.
With the "As High As" welcome offer from American Express, here’s how it works: First, apply for the card which will only trigger a soft credit inquiry-and if you're approved, you’ll find out your personalized offer amount. Then if you choose to proceed, simply accept the card with your offer (Note: If you’re approved and accept the Card, your credit score will be impacted at this point in the process). Finally, meet the required minimum spending amount based on your personalized offer within the specified number of months from opening your card, and you will earn a valuable welcome offer in the form of Delta SkyMiles®. Keep in mind: welcome offers vary and you may not be eligible for an offer.
With this card, you'll also receive a free Companion Certificate on a Delta First, Delta Comfort, or Delta Main domestic, Caribbean, or Central American round-trip flight each year after renewal of your card. Other perks include a 15% discount when off of award travel with TakeOff 15 (not applicable to partner-operated flights or taxes and fees) as well as a head start to earning Medallion Qualification Dollars towards status. Note: Enrollment may be required to receive benefits or credits.
**Reserve Card members will receive 15 Delta Sky Club visits per year; to earn an unlimited number of visits each year, the total eligible purchases on the Card must equal $75,000 or more each calendar year.
